This is my latest purchase! I just wanted something that I could put all of Caleb's little toys in so I didn't have to look at them all over the living room. I guess he is really "getting into it." hehe.
In other news, Caleb will be getting two new cousins sometime in the next nine months. Two of my sister-in-laws are expecting! We are looking forward to meeting them both! Also, a sweet friend of ours, and the best baby-sitter in the world, just had a baby of her own this past week! We are so happy for the Vander Velde Family!
Carlo and I got to take a much needed get-away last weekend to Chicago where we celebrated his 36th birthday. A fabulous, fir
So, I am officially ready for Spring!I put out the few Easter decorations I have and even signed up to run in the Crazy Legs 8K with a friend at the end of April; somehow I will train for that with all this cold weather.... My dear friend Nicole is the one who asked me to run with her, I really don't think I could do it without her company. The sun is shining and I am ignoring the flurries that fly outside my window. In the mean time, I am thankful for our health as of late, and all the tremendous amount of scrap-booking I will be able to finish this coming week while on spring break.
I will add, since spring is in the air and babies are being made, I have been craving to have a second one of our own. I am getting older and Caleb needs a little brother or sister. Sorry, mom I'm not pregnant, but will keep everyone posted when the time comes.
I wanted to share a few other pics of the babe here also. This is a shot of some sweet bed-head one morning last week. Gotta love those coocity-coos! ;) I just melt with those little faces he makes first thing in the morning.
This is our little reader in his book nook. I love snuggling up in there with him before his naps. He is sporting one of my favorite knitted outfit that Abu (Carlo's mom) made him...sadly, this is probably the last time he will get to wear it....he's getting so big!
Well, that's it for now. Have a fabulous rest of the weekend. I can hear Caleb laughing down in the family room with Daddy, I gotta get in on that!
