This past month has been crazy- busy but very fun-filled. Starting in mid-August I did the Mud Run to support breast cancer research with some girl friends of mine. We pushed ourselves through the muck and survived. My favorite obstacle was the giant blow-up pyramid we had to climb and bounce down in the beginning before we had to army-crawl through the cold mud. All in all, I definitely recommend doing it at least once. The post-race hose-down in the troughs where the cattle hang out during the county fair, was by far the strangest experience of the summer. Yes, a bucket list item crossed way off the list ;)
The following weekend we headed up north for the annual Booyah party at my uncle Paul's cabin. My awesome aunt Karen made us all great matching t-shirt this year with "The Broken Horn" emblem on it. Baby Josh even get his own t-shirt.
Then we headed back to GB for a lovely time at the orchard with my parents on Saturday and then the sweet dedication of my niece and nephew on Sunday! The weather was perfect for great memory- making events.
Lastly, as many of you have already heard or seen, there is a new mama in town...yup, I chopped of all of my hair and am sporting a fresh, new look! I had been considering it for some time now and finally got the nerve to do it. After making a fairly long pros and cons list, I decided the heck with it; it's just hair! So, here you have it...hot off the press the...

PS If you are wondering what to get me for Christmas...I need some sassy earrings now to show off my lobes ;)
Have a great weekend!
Cheers!
